Tethra Privacy Policy

The short version

Tethra runs on your PC. Your phone screen, games, recordings, key layouts and settings never leave your computer. We have no accounts, no ads and no analytics.

What stays on your computer

• The phone mirror, audio, recordings and screenshots.
• Settings, game profiles and key layouts (%APPDATA%\Tethra).
• The diagnostic log tethra.log. It is only sent to us if you choose to email it for support.
• Privacy Guard checks which app is open on your phone and whether a call is active, so it can hide the mirror. This happens locally between your phone and PC. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

What is sent over the internet

Only when you use Tethra Pro. Tethra contacts our payment and licensing provider, Dodo Payments, to:

• activate your licence key: your licence key and a name for this PC (your computer's name), so you can see your activations;
• re-check your key about twice a day: your licence key and the activation ID.

When you buy Tethra Pro, Dodo Payments processes your name, email and payment details as merchant of record, under Dodo Payments' privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details from them to provide support and refunds.

Data we keep

Order records (name, email, licence key, purchase date) for as long as tax law requires, and support emails you send us.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, for users in the EU/UK, the GDPR.

Children

Tethra is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at [WEBSITE]/privacy.
